40th Anniversary Photographic Celebration
Layouts

Bob Jones produced this signal box and turntable in the mid 1980's

Chee Tor by the Manchester Model Railway Society. This is one of the most ambitious scenic layouts, with a small railway cutting through magnificant limestone countryside.

Chipping Norton, by Keith Armes.

The Flying Scot sets off on its journey to Edinburgh, emerging from the Copenhagen tunnel, just north of Kings Cross. Part of the Model Railway Club's large project 'Copenhagen Fields'.

Haverhill by Martin Allen. A small layout, less than four feet long, captures the spaciousness of a rural East Anglian light railway.

Midsomer Norton by Alan Smith. An accurate and careful model of the S&DJR. This photograph was carefully taken to match one of the prototype.
